Frequently Asked Questions

  • Visit the information desk located in the Entry Area for book returns and pickups.

  • For first time users, you'll need to "claim a subscription". If you're a faculty or staff member who has been accessing NYT and suddenly can't, you'll need to renew your subscription.

  • You can schedule an appointment with a reference librarian for help using databases. All reference librarians can provide database help, but it's recommended that you seek assistance from the librarian who works most closely with your subject area.

  • Kieth Peppers, University Archivist, is your best source for learning more about BW's history. Email is the best method to contact Kieth: kpeppers@bw.edu.

  • We have several different equipment options: projection and presentation, recording equipment, speakers and microphones, and more. View the Equipment Page where you can see pictures of the different types of equipment available. From there, you can also check availability and make requests to borrow items. Please note, equipment requests are placed on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to make a "reservation" for a particular item weeks in advance, please contact the Access Services department by calling (440) 826-2204.
